Amnesia: The Dark Descent is Lovecraft to a tee. Player loses sanity as he is chased underground by a shapeless, incomprehensible god, because the god wants the player to kill an exiled alien schizo living in the torture dungeons down below.
You never even fight or see the Shadow. The final boss is just the alien flapping his naked dick at you. Lovey would've been terrified.
