Both of the last JP gens were involved in some shitstorm affecting one of the talents right after debut, and in the case of Gen 5 she quit shortly after. It's a rrat but I kinda think they're very unsure of releasing a new gen.

I don't think there's been a auditions call in a while so I doubt it unless they're scouting them privately

Obviously they are going to make a gen 6, its just an issue of when it'll happen. It has been 13 months since gen 5 debut. Now that Cover has a good foothold in foreign markets is EN and ID they might turn back to Japan.

HoloJP is oversaturated, it makes sense that they're focusing on ID and EN instead. Wouldn't be surprised if they opened another foreign branch at some point too.

They lost the EN market, ID they are dominating in. IF Gen 6 comes, it wll come by the end of the year.

Honestly I think they'll try something else before doing a Gen 6. Either more singers, a GAMERS 2 or even an ASMR focused branch. The general streamer market is getting more and more saturated so the way to stand out is more specialised content.
