The tag system is a helpful tool put in place to help you find stories you want more easily. If you're on desktop, the command is CTRL + F and then you simply input the words you're looking for. On mobile, you need to go at the 3 dots at the top right of the screen and select "Find in page", then input the words just like you'd do in a computer. Currently, there are a few guidelines set in place as to how the tags work, and it usually goes something along the lines of:

Is it NSFW? This can result in the NSFW and SFW tag.

What genre is it? It can be comedy, action, fantasy, etc. It's best to not use more than one genre but if you really must, then go ahead.

Characters. Which chuubas appear in this story? You should add all the ones that have direct dialogue or interact with the others. Them simply being mentioned by name is not enough to add them as a tag.

Fetishes (if it applies). Usually reserved for NSFW but it may be possible to have them in a SFW story. It can be things like footjob, anal, giantess, handjob and so on. It's usually best not to use more than 2 of these as to not clutter the tags too much. Try to use only the main fetish of the story.

And finally, you have theme. It can be abuse, it can be fluff, it can be tragedy, it can be shitpost or greentext. This area is a bit of a mixed bag and resides on a gray area. Usually you can have as many themes as you need so long as they don't contradict themselves. For example, abuse and tragedy can be put in just fine. Fluff and abuse? Not so much (though there might be exceptions).

this should be all? Obviously this requires a lot more polishing but generally that's the gist of it I think. Please do help me refine this more if you think something like this might help the archives. Also a list of all tags we currently have would be amazing. Thank you for your time.

The tags I generally use are...well, you sort of summed it up. SFW, NSFW, Abuse (which someone has pointed out can be better defined based on the context of the story, something I agree with), Fluff, Adventure, Action, Horror, Gore, Snuff...that's off the top of my head. For right now the only real plans I have involving tags is the abuse one. A major tag overhaul would be a kind of wacky undertaking at the moment. Maybe in the future. This is an incredibly bizarre yet wholly understandable dilemma. Maybe try to play up dog aspects?
