ogey anon. I'll bite though since I admittedly felt somewhat similar in the beginning that something felt a little "off". But I quickly realized it was because she simply doesn't have the same style as rappers in the West. She's early 2000s Eminem inspired (this gets pretty clear if you listen to her your mori ep) and j-rap adapted into English. Not hearing a white girl trying to sound black when they rap is also part of it. Her choice of flow is hit-or-miss (mostly hit since the latest EP), but her lyricism is something you're not going to find in western rappers these days unless you go digging and that outweighs the minor negatives some of her songs may have.

I'm also gonna add that she sounds borderline peppy at times and her enunciation is extremely clear, which may make it sound "off" when more than half of the rappers in the West are mumble rappers or at least don't enunciate as well.
