This isn't even really exclusive to streamers, male content creators on any platform whether it be Youtube, Twitch or even TikTok that manage to get high female viewerships will sometimes tend to avoid social issues unless their audience seems to pester the creator to provide their opinion, which is usually met with a basic "I provide a safe space for ALL people, love and unity and all that" in order to satisfy their audience and get more money from them.
