As a mainly Hololive viewer, nothing went wrong?

My oshi is Roboco. She has been streaming for over 3 years to about the same live viewers that NijiEN gets. She doesnt need a second job, has enough money to care for her cats and herself. She doesnt seem to be stressed out and just keeps chugging along puts out content which I like.

For most fans, what they probably want most is that the vtuber can get just enough of a fanbase that van support them enough that they can keep putting out content that they love to watch for a long time to come.

It's more that they're incompatible games in design philosophy which makes it hard to go from one to the other. SC2 sold a bajillion copies and tons of people still play it, they just generally aren't the same people that play a lot of BW.

I bounce around talents from Hololive, NijiEN, Vshoujo and Phase Connect as well as a handful of indies, but Hololive tends to suit my sleeping pattern a lot better.

I agree that the Holobronies are obsessed, but it's just as much to do with not missing out than it is with numbers. You can't really deny that since there's more fans, there's more fan content, and now EN have 2 gens they're kind of spoiled timezone wise with no real reason to break out their bubble.
