Gura got burnt out because she disliked what some of her fans were trying to typecast her as. Experience is good but having someone learn from scratch works too (and Hololive was founded and thrived from that), and Mori clearly is able to say she's not scared of trying new things or taking risks. There was confidence that she could handle the pressure.
