Seasons don't have to be summer/winter. In monsoons there's a wet and there's a dry season. I'd say Loreli has a wet and dry season. Upon second look Loreli is more temperate than tropical. So Loreli will have seasons. Which I think would affect currents more than the weather.

I think tourism is pretty big in the Morijigoku lowlands, there is a lot of commerce and cultural exchange so they're pretty popular destinations. Also easy to sail to, since they're right on the intercontinental sea.
The mountaintops on the other hand are very inhospitable to foreigners, those who visit there have to be very motivated and well equipped/connected.

Baker-chan in a deep spacesuit could survive if she still had one. At best she'll have a battery powered undersuit. The undersuits are a black skin-tight plug suit you wear under your clothes. It is engineered to be the most comfortable garment to wear since it goes under your jumpsuit and spacesuit. It even has built in heating, cooling, and ventilation. And yes it opens up when you need to use the toilet or quick fuck.

Just remember if you try to capture them then they will use gravity power to sit on you with the weight of a pillow on Jupiter. Which is pretty much instant death. They also have really high AC and DR to all physical damage and fire. So be nice.

I really need to sit down and make a homebrew page for breadogs. They are best friends or worst enemies. I'm thinking they are lawful neutral as they are constructs that follows law and order of /nasa/ but don't have morality jusldgements of their own. If the principal says kill this guy breadogs would do it unless it breaks the law. And laws can change for better or worse.

Breadogs are at least a CR7-12. I might make them CR7-8 because they travel alongside Sanallites. I also need to give breadogs a clear weakness. Maybe acid and electricity. Acids could dissolve the dough armor revealing the vulnerable frame. Then you smash them. But beware you can die from electricity via short circuit. And the breadogs will self-destruct like a tiny-nuke.

Keep in mind this is for DnD/Pathfinder. For vDriver breadogs are purely magical space beings via Sana's lore. Vitubia breadogs are bread robots.

Keep an eye out for LOTB3 this weekend! Wrasslin' starts at 1pm eastern Saturday and Sunday, so come watch as WARanon enters the ring to duke it out against 49 other thread reps for a chance to add a second belt to his collection. Although he won his first bout last weekend, he didn't score enough points to advance to the Ro24, so WAR's next match will be tomorrow at 5:20 in a fatal 4-way against /nina/, /rrat/, and /tactical/. WAR will also be fighting for the title of most a/vt/istic general against /vt/ League, /hfz/, Ogey Calibur, and /vtrp/ on Sunday at 6. Other matches will depend on his performance tomorrow, so keep a lookout for updates here or the gameday thread if we die. You can check out /hfz/ as well for the full schedule and format info.

Speaking of /mint/ I have a few ideas for the wisps at the mansion resort.

-Most wisp maids stay in will-o-wisp form. Maintaining a tangible human form as ghosts takes lots of will power.
-Wisps can still manipulate physical objects via poltergeists.
-Most wisps work cleaning, cooking, laundry, gardening, and other odd jobs in wisp form.
-The wisps that maintain human form are the hostesses of the mansion.
-Hostesses are in charge of the client's care and satisfaction.
-Both girls and boys can become hostesses.
-Yes the boys do have to wear dress uniforms and makeup like girls. They are representatives of Mint the phantom maid.

Just ideas.

Once you secure resources you can start building towns around them. And then you network towns through roads and railways.

new awat notes
>Fall in /awat/
- At the start of fall /awat/ begins harvesting their corn for the holidays along with various gords such as pumpkins
- There are 2 holidays that take place in /awat/ such as halloween and thanksgiving.
- Other notable events that take place are annual sports events such as soccer, in which case the /awat/ team plays in their home stadium or visits other nations teams
- A parade takes place on thanksgiving in /awat/ everyyear featuring floats of various /awat/ related things and associates in celebration of the nation's history
- Due to gators being cold blooded, they do not wear much more clothing then they do now, most of their fashion during the colder months include a scarf or a beanie and not much else
- tourism also picks up around this time as some stay for the upcoming winter festivals that /awat/ is known for. Tourist often partake in the fall festivities as well but more near the end of the month
- special fall foods and consumables are also sold around this time in the city that last up until the mid of winter

>Updates as of 11/10 for the railway system
- New residents have decided to rent and buy homes with in /awat/ as of the completion of the railway system
- The main train is powered little creatures known as starberts who's entire purpose is to power the train
- Due to how the train operates, once it is in the air it will land down onto the ground and start generation train tracks in front of it so if can continue to move forward
- The operator of the train seems to bear a striking resemblance to some of the old carvings featured with in the /awat/ ruins but most seem to think it is a coincidence

Hello! Imo, much of the southern polar continent will have coastlines of liquid water during the summer, even on the southern side depending on the currents. In winter, it'll be mostly encased in an ice sheet, but the north coastline will still have parts that are on the liquid ocean, especially that northernmost Cape. This is based on Viti being a smidge warmer than Earth on average,
At least, that would be my educated guess, feel free to adopt another interpretation. Are you thinking someone might live there?

Oh that's interesting, both the irl maps and it being a bit warmer than earth.
I wouldn't say that someone might live there, or after least that I'd have anything to do with that. But I was curious what a nation there might look like.
I was thinking it would would at least on paper occupy the entire content plus frozen ice when applicable.
Even if practically only small parts would be permanently settled at once beyond the green northern tip and directly connected tundra. Like having a portion of the population be nomadic with disconnected smaller permanent communities deeper in and in the islands.
It would put the area a bit under double the suggested 2,000,000 km2 with just the land itself before the ice sheets in winter but that I can't imagine anybody else wanting to occupy only frozen nothing.

Funnily enough, for deep polar landmasses, if you're gonna make some kind of living there you're probably better off on the ice sheet than somewhere in the middle of the continent; the ice sheet would be where you have better chances to hunt bears, seals, and fish a bit. In the wasteland over the land, there would be nearly nothing to sustain oneself in winter, unless we spec bio'd something.
Though being around the coastlines is the "best" of both worlds.

Good news. I made a discovery. Dodos like to huddle against each other during the cold wet seasons. We learned this from the farm dodos. Dodos also like to huddle against breadogs and Joshu under shelter.

In the wild for cold wet season dodos build nests from leaves, grass, twigs, and reeds to create a pile of foliage that not only keepz their eggs dry but also keeps them warm. When fungus eats the foliage it produces heat. Turkeys build similar nests in Virginia during fall.
