I'm not 100% on the technical details because I never got into the weeds of aigen but as I understand it, AnimeSharp and other ESRGAN upscalers are a separate upscaling model that runs after the image is done, but latent upscaling feeds latent noise back into the completed image and processes it again using the SD checkpoint you used to generate it, resulting in added details. someone who understands this properly should correct me. I like it for the details and because it fixes stuff like faces and hands, though you can just run adetailer for that too

I haven't used latent in a while since I'm on the img2img upscale train now, but it was always a bit less stable than other upscale types. you really have to find the right denoise for your model/sampler/etc since even just small adjustments there can make a big difference

Actually I think I know what has been plaguing me these past 2 days of mixing. It was gooeyAnon's LoRA and I added pretty early so it has been over looked this whole time. I put it there since it gave good see-through fabric with blush and initially didn't look like it affected skin and body shading but I think it was causing most of a bit of a dirty shading look.

Hmm did some tests. I used Forge couple and regular forge cause I don't think region works on it but the idea should be the same.
For me it just seems like getting 4girls itself is just tough, happens 1 in every 8 gens.
Other than that I would say it's fairly typical, it does bleed as usual but only when the comp makes one character fall in the portion of another which I think is just how region does it's thing.
