For an AU i'd say sky is the limit as long as you keep the core of the characters intact, even if they deviate.

So if you write say, Gura as a haughty loli, you'd still have to include that "humble/vulnerable" aspect of her personality which would mean she just acts haughty or she's haughty but she's super genuine about praise or whatever.

Aside from that, i feel like the best AUs are those that completely change the landscape and go to either fantastical settings, period pieces or even pure on sci fi because you can explore all these ideas with familiar faces

I wouldn't call it *total* garbage, but first off it should've been longer - both the buildup and the act itself. The prose isn't terrible, though you need to smooth it out so it flows better. You don't want your reader getting tripped up whenever they come across 'I'. You're writing in the first-person POV so you have to keep in mind that 'I' gets really annoying if the prose isn't written right.
You see, people here have read so much smut that they're looking for something more than "I put the penor in the vaginer". I suggest taking a look at the archive and see how they're written. They'll help you write smut that's longer and flows better with fuller buildup and action.

Smutfics don't need a massive amount of plot to be engaging; sometimes even any, because you open the link already aware of the characters and the context they live within. If the smutfic changes that context, then it'll need to clarify those changes somewhere within the fic, but otherwise little more is needed than an abundance of sensual, provocative prose.
Take The Lioness' Caress for example, which has about a page of setup before it starts becoming a smutfic and is still one of the best Botan smutfics in the archive.
Or Absolutely Annihilating Ayame's Anus, which has no story at all and yet is one of my favourite booty fics written and in no short order because of the attention to body language it has on a girl experiencing anal sex for the first time.
