Any spoopy lore? What are some classic monsters and ghost stories from your nation? Do they have any basis in reality?

>The creation mythos that surrounds the Candy Kingdom describes the holy octopus, Hiro Papa, who is known as the father of Luna and of the whole species of Lunar Octopi which populate the coast of the Candy Kingdom. Hiro Papa is a divine figure to Luknights although due to the culture of the Candy Kingdom and the position Luna herself holds as the primary deity and figure of worship, he is venerated separately from Luna as a being of great skill and wisdom to be aspired to however he too is a being whose powers are in service of the lunar princess and to call him a diety stirs uncomfortable feelings in some devoted lunaitos. It is said that Hiro Papa, who was known to have a great fascination with the nubile youthfulness of young girls, sought to capture the beauty of immortal youth and cuteness in a perfect form. Under the sea with his eight limbs, Hiro Papa carved out statues that depicted beautiful girls at the height of their youth yet still he found that he was not yet satisfied with his creations and saw in them either an age of maturity which hinted at the imperfections to come or the smooth yet undefined features of infancy which lacked all sense of personhood and lacked differentiation. On the sweet shores of the sugary coast, Hiro crawled upon its beach and gazed longily at the moon whose light illuminated his creations so that he might work upon them with a greater clarity to carve away their imperfections. The moon is known to be a great beacon of magic and insight and as each night passed and the moon grew more full, Hiro Papa's creations became closer to his ideal yet never close enough to satisfy his great will and passion. Though Hiro Papa loved his creations, inevitably he would begin work again and would devote all of his passion to his craft, relentlessly perfecting his creation until it depicted a form of true beauty it is said then that Hiro communed with the moon for the first time.
Need help with creation myth of Candy Kingdom in Viti, the idea is that Hiro Papa didn't "create" Luna persay but created an image of Luna that was cute enough to reflect her divine nature which would be the start of the new method of autocratic rulership the Candy Kingdom would commit to. Hiro is supposed to be part of a species of pink octopi that make loli statues out of sea clay and occasionally abduct people and are native to the Candy Coast that are a protected species that are only eaten during festivals or by royal edict.
Its very similar to the Old World concept of the Hime Vessel but this ruler would be much more explicitly the sit in for Hime as opposed to being worshipped as a divine figure or as someone who has divine qualities, more like how you would praise and cherish a figurine of your oshi. Should pre-luna lunaitos/protonaitos be described in any detail or should it just be left alone? The gathering of lunaitos is also something that I'm scratching my head over like how lunaitos would eventually gather around and begin worshipping Luna although I could probably figure that out.
other things I'd ask for advice on is how best to format a lore dump from things like civilization, land mass, cultural idea, and things that lead into other ideas that are interconnected.

There are quiet a few cryptids that exist in awat mythos such as The immortal pheonix, The god of death, Big shark, and Cthulhu. Lunar Octopi? That's cool and new, hell yeah. Chuuba parents are a bit of an unexplored aspect of chuuba divinities, something to consider. Maybe I can work in a snowshark in the Morijigoku mountains for Yukisame-mama.
I really like the idea that the pink cephalopods are responsible for the leadership of the Candy Kingdom, kinda reminds me of that bit in Avatar where the dragons taught humans how to use fire magic and are both a sacred creature and part of the origin myth of the society. You could even take it further by having some of them kept in lavishly furnished and luxurious saltwater ponds in the palace, and they sit on some royal meetings or something funny like that. Caligula had horses as imperial advisors, so there is some precedent...
I don't see anything wrong with some mentions of proto-lunaitos. Anything usually comes from something, right? Proto-deadbeats are getting a small mention in our creation myth...
For formatting, honestly I wouldn't feel too much pressure to make it anything fancy, but I've found having a big main lore entry with a mix of shorter, more digestible articles, and hyperlinks to longer more elaborate entries, all organized in categories you navigate with a table of contents, tends to be easiest to work with and read through; this way the big walls of text are suggested instead of being dumped on you all at once. Liberal use of markdown formatting, cute symbols (there's a unicode character for the moon in various phases) and images is also good.

Hate waking up late. Good morning.

Breakfast time.

Breakfast back in the day isn't what we think breakfast is. Breakfast was mostly eaten by hard laborers for those extra calories for the day. Breakfast back then was just wine, bread, and cheese. You really didn't have time to cook breakfast as labor was from sunrise to sunset. It was only in the industrial era that breakfast became a staple. And after pasturization eggs and bacon became the American breakfast.

Loreli breakfast might be as simple as coconut mixed with some fresh fruit and a ship's biscuit with some boiled eggs. Loreli has long days. So breakfast has to be quick to prepare in the mornings. Though I think brunches might be more popular than breakfast. And suppers are mid-afternoon. Dinners before sundown might be the lightest meals next to breakfast.

Suppers are mostly fish and shellfish. But sometimes they are dodo, chicken, and capy. Dodo being the rarest delicacy as dodos are open season once every few years. Capybara is eaten when there is a bad fishing season. Capybara is mostly sold for luxury leather.

As for Loreli it's mostly celebrated by sailors. The natives don't really have spooky tales hor Haloween. They do have their own ghost stories in the tunnels under the archives.

#Recent development of a railway system amongst the capital of /awat/
- Constructs around the edge of the capital has begun in /awat/ from an outside group of rodents. Seemingly resemble hamsters or gerbils, a little on the plump side
- Currently they are making the station where the train will rest and stop for each trip
- Their conductor and head of the project had recently met with the board of directors of Watson industries but little is known of why they met
- The residents of the capital are currently suspicious of their intentions as this is a very sudden change coming to their city

#Halloween in /awat/
- Around the start of the fall months the nation of awat gets ready for halloween. It's considered an important holiday as a stone statue they praise as 'Wife' (Looks like smol ame in a pumpkin outfit) is annually cleaned of the years dirt and forestation that has gathered on it. It sits on a nearby farm in the city that is one of the last farms to be preserved within the city after they modernized it from its former farm land. Its used to house corn that is used for the fall season for meals
- awat is also known for their specialize chocolate wafer candies that get seasonal flavors. They are usually connected by 2 or 4. Some notable flavors is classic (Chocolate), white chocolate, matcha and mint. During this season they release 2 kinds, an orange white chocolate one and a pumpkin spiced flavor one.
- The streets are decorated in fall decorations as well as halloween themed ones. Shops sell fall and halloween themed products including decorations themselves, baked goods or costumes for all ages
- On halloween you see people going door to door trick or treating getting candy for themselves. At the end of their halloween night, trick or treaters offer a chocolate wafer to 'Wife' from their candy horde and leave. Some say 'wife' eats the candy over night.
