It looks fine, I have no taste for feet so I can't comment on that. Maybe cut back on the stuttering in Mori's dialogue, it makes her look more special needs than flustered. I personally wouldn't refer to Kronii as a Canuck either, cause while true it's not something that's readily apparent about her or relevant to the story in anyway, as well as switching between 'reaper' and 'shinigami' interchangeably. But you mentioned you were struggling with good epithets so I won't be harsh about that.

I think the only thing you can't dodge here is Gonathan G, Ame regained her memories halfway through so you can just namedodge in narration until relevant, especially since the core of the tragedy is around that point anyway.
At least gonathan kinda looks like a whimsical fantasy name and not a mispelling.

Having a bit of trouble starting up my next scene. I intend to time jump forward a bit from Anon gathering the courage to call a girl who gave him her number, but I'm not sure where the reasonable jumping on point would be to resume.
I was thinking about having it be them on a date, but it feels a bit far to jump. On the other hand I don't really want to spend all the time required talking about the necessary setup for something like that. Any advice?

If its a nervous first date, as cliche as it is you can jump at the start of the preparations or the start of the date.

If its a nervous first date but only for one of them, you can jump straight into the date and use that to highlight how nervous that person is that everything is kind of going fast

think of what's the expected emotion and how it feels, then try and gauge what's a neat jumping point based on the context...or just jump right into it and go "man it sure went fast". You can imply a lot and not neccesarily show it as long as you do it sensibly

Obviously for actual prose adaptations what happened in ENreco isn't going to be 1 to 1 but like how are you going a dress this if at all?
Because that would be an interesting detail to play around with.

For me, Gonathan, Jyonathan, Tam Gandr, etc. were all "real people". With the mind wipe, the hologirls lost their memories and power, but kept their personalities and characteristics. Their new lives with their new names were not merely "personas" but actual "people" with their own thoughts and feelings. When the hologirls have their memories returned, the stronger beings (Calli, Kiara, CouncilRyS, and some others I haven't decided) are able to retain both sets of memories while the weaker ones (Amelia, Gigi, Gura, FWMC) lose their Libestal ones.

In my fic for Gigi specifically, Gonathan's persona was strong enough (due to his trials he endured) that he caused a schism in Gigi's soul, causing it to fracture.

I've gone through about four versions of my Hololive X Fate script, I think I'm starting to cook a good plot, finally. There are still some small issues to resolve, and some things I'm hesitant to commit to, but this should turn out decently well.

Maybe if this turns out well enough, I'll throw it into VN style...but I'm trying not to get too ambitious here.

According to my autistic worldbuilding that only exists in my head, Tintagel and that area is more Anglo-Saxon but the closer you get to the capital the more Norman it gets. Cover is structured more like the Holy Roman Empire in its governance, generally speaking.
As for Shions problem with Miko as well as her other problems, this chapter was my attempt at incorporating "DepresShion" as a plot point. That is to say, many of her perceived issues with herself are all in her head. I'll keep this feedback in mind going forward though. Sounds like I didn't quite communicate that. Thanks for reading.

I think you just summarized why exactly battle harem was the superior slop genre. Like, these series were always completely ridiculous. Even something as iconic as Fate/Stay Night has insanely dumb shit like King Arthur (female) falling in love with a high school retard over one and a half weeks. But even in the silliest battle harems there was always SOMETHING you could take away from them, maybe they had an interesting setting, or the writer came up with some neat schizo lore, or the power system was interesting to play around with, you know, anything! An actual story, even if it was totally retarded.

The isekai genre is bad not because of the boilerplate premise (though I personally don't like it), but because it represents a period of time where commercial experience and social media allowed writers and publishers to do away with writing actual stories, however silly, and simply extrude dopamine hits in the form of a standardized product. The standard of anime/novel that the isekai boom brought with was essentially to 2010s anime writing what lootboxes+microtransactions were to 2010s videogames.

How many isekais actually end? as in, they reach their logical conclusion? how many of them lose gas right as the anime stops airing, how many of them jampack all their ideas on the first half and then stumble into a second half?

I think both isekai and battle harem are able to hit their respective forms of wish fulfillment if executed half-competently, but I think the difference lies in their scopes.

Has a clear end point given the current world state. Your chicks are going to beat the shit out of you, and have sex, or beat the shit out of each other, then have sex with you, or work together to beat the shit out of an even bigger girl, then have sex.
It's designed to be self-contained and not leave the viewer longing for much more, and you don't need to expand a lot other than how powers work.

The plot is a lot more open-ended compared to battle harem. The point of the isekai is that it's a vast and ever rotating world, which leaves a lot more potential for overarching story telling. The world state is also used as a central moving point in most isekais, mostly in the form of how the self-insert has been slighted by how things are currently, or how they are actively trying to change them. A goal that big can't be done in a single season, which is why most writers seem to opt to just giving the self-insert some bullshit power or have them crutch on their modern past life experience to fast track them to either living in comfort, or blasting away the opposition. This type of mentality also affects the worldbuilding, since the market is that people just care about being literally them in a fantasy world and reaping all the rewards, so the world outside of a few snippets in the start, and some plot twist later, is almost deemed irrelevant, since the point would be that it will be forcibly changed by the MC.

Tldr: The scope of isekai is much larger than that of a battle harem, so a viewer might feel bad over the wasted potential an isekai can have. Both can do similar things, but the battle harem is on average better about owning up to the schlock factor and just having fun with it.
