The only vtubers who ever did this were the ones making YouTube videos. Once streaming started, nobody could, or wanted to, keep up a "character" for longer than five minutes. Playing a character requires direction, planning, a script, and structure. None of that exists once you go live so you have to wing it and the more you do the less you stay in character and rely upon the familiar.

I don't really know why this is so hard for the "kayfabe" faggots to grasp. Kayfabe doesn't exist and any you think does is confirmation biasing.
