I think ERB works better as a concept of a knight who rose to the top and now dictates her strict form of justice across the orders. Her being a lone crusader is alright, but it lacks the weight of this warped sense of justice becoming widespread and accepted by the masses.

I don't even know where to start in a way where I can say something constructive here. This is just mediocre in a 'I don't really have strong feelings for anything in it' way.
Like there's other flaws there in terms of prose and general storytelling but the biggest problem here is that there's nothing here to feel for.
For lack if better advice the only thing I can really recommend is to dream bigger. Write something you can really feel horny about. Write about your oshi or like a chuuba you really understand.

Minecraft makes sense from a marketing standpoint. Whether people actually like seeing block game or not, the numbers show that it's a success. Also with Mio and Miko not doing the sports festival anymore, people might be expecting more block game events from hololive. Also for a person with the right tools, making this kinda shit in minecraft is probably low cost and low time investment. I think it's a matter of who the talent is, which is the case with any lore and such. The person who is using it or who it's meant for, has to want to embrace it and/or enjoy it. There's an extra layer of this that comes in when you introduce a group dynamic as well. If some of your group isn't leaning into the kayfabe as hard as you are, you might feel awkward in addition to the lore presentation being diminished. It's a very delicate balancing act.

See, vtyber lore is quite complex because the more you answer questions the more they pop up and sometimes you have to build it on the fly. For vtubers, theres the complex issue of,essentially, a character going rogue and offscript every single chapter for the sake of comedy and entertainment.

Watame is a sheep girl that sings lullabies... So why the fuck is she a shogun now? What is watamelon? Why didnt she do anything wrong? Why is she being devoured by a gaming lion that has a ramen shop and is a sniper? She can respawn now??
Vtuber lore is constantly mutating because its influenced by streams. The solution to this unstoppable mutation is to go..."guess we doing this now"

Some girls keep their kayfabe to the max (like FWMC) and others have deviated so much from the script that theyve created an entirely new character (Akai haato became Hachaama the strongest idol) and both are excellent ideas because the streamer is turning that script into something unique with their personality.

Which bring us to ENreco: why bother coming up with this massively weirdo and hard to keep track off lore when its gonna go against the vtubing spirit of making shit on the fly and going for the bit?

It's not quite theft, at least not yet anyway lol. What I've learned most through reading is how to pace and how to describe better. I've learned to slow the fuck down and enjoy the ride because reading authors who do that well makes for a really enjoyable experience. One of the authors I read regularly has a really great talent for injecting pointless information that never fails to be interesting even if it has zero relevance to the plot. I'm taking some pointers from his work to do the exact same in mine.

This is what I hate most about Balsa. I loved writing it and expended so much creativity and passion on it only to basically not know what I didn't know and have the whole work suffer greatly for it. I actually have been, slowly but surely. It's quite a bit of work lol. having to rework and redo all the unrefined bits, I'm writing entirely new plots to fix things that never got a proper focus. But my attention has mostly been focused on White December and three new WIPs I haven't yet released. My creativity is definitely rather scattered at the moment.

What I'll probably eventually do from complete ground up rework is Blackbean. My plans and intentions for it are now completely different due to the various stories I've read, the concept I have was not nearly as good as I thought it may be. But that'll be a long way off. For now I'm just going to keep my eyes on White December and slowly put together three other stories as and when I feel like doing something different. It's something I catch a lot of flak for but my mind is often brimming with ideas that I can't incorporate into current stories.

For starters i would say you need to define what's the point of this story.

If its to make you have a chuckle and go "cute", then play up the scaryness of the scene and then get a second hit of sweetness, add dialogue, internal thoughts, etc. Dress up the scene

If its eery, make me feel scared. This plant is devouring anon and he just goes "ah shit, guess im donezo". Add descriptions that make you worried or scared, thoughts about not wanting to be scared.

Is this hot? why? do plant tits have a particular softness? is there a boner? does she smell good? how good? where are her hands going and how is this hot?.

Basically, picture what you want to tell and constantly tell yourself "that's the one, i like that"

I liked the descriptions of Douglas' Hitchiker series and Snicket's A series of unfortunate events because of how sarcastic the narrators are and how entertaining and surprising they describe things.

For once, i think the formatting of the dialogue is a bit awkward, since it tends to get lost in the middle of descriptions. Its not unreadable but it makes you second guess yourself. My big issue with this fic is that it's kind of in a sour spot where it's neither short enough to just be high impact rat incest but not long enough to really warrant the 'buildup' implied within.
It's like you, the author, wanted to write the former but due to discomfort tried to write the latter but not enough.
So what's here is a fic that has enough to be the basis for a fic where Anon and Bae are stuck together while Bae's heat runs though her for X days but tries to end it with a short sex scene rather than trying to run with the incest romance angle further.

Reading helps with developing empathy in general, Anon. A particularly good writer will show you how people think, the things they want, and why they want the things they want. Granted, it's not 100% like the real thing, but it helps a lot.
As for getting to know a chuuba better, don't pressure yourself too much. Capturing the broad strokes of a character is fine, and putting your own twist on them is also fine. As long as it's entertaining, you'll be able to please all but the most diehard of a chuuba's fans.

Part of the reason why Myers-Briggs and other systems that attempt to categorize personalities sound so vague is because they're trying to quantify things that are better understood when felt rather than defined.
