Before the sisters get back, I am wondering what we have on the menu after this big event.
I kinda expect Resident Evil to come back in October which should be good, but also more indie horrorslop on top. Some cover song that is horror-themed would be cool, Kisida Kyodan and the Akebosi Rockets' "High School of the Dead" if I got my way.
Getting weekly Advent watchalongs again in November would be cool, making it a tradition would be fun and the selection last time was great, but other than that I think November would be a great time to try something new before December is busy as hell. Games is rough since it has to be something easy. I think Mococo is autistic enough to enjoy something like Factorio and play it for hours but both of them are so fluffy and fuzzy that it probably wouldn't be a fun experience (on stream).

At it's core the idea is solid. Some of the best events in Hololive are the big Minecraft events like the Sports Festival, Summer Festival, or when a new server opens. You get a ton of cute clippable interactions, often between talents that don't interact often. Sometimes you get things like Peko Moona or Shiraken which lead to units, songs, and projects of their own. Traditionally a large part of organization has been on the talents which gets harder every year with more participants and the burden of setting everything up fell on a few people.

I can get why they would want a big Minecraft event and taking the responsibility off the talents is a good move, that's what management SHOULD do. However this forced RP on rails thing kind of defeats the purpose of cute interactions between girls we know and love and the intro was far too long and lore heavy, plus it crashed.

They should have just said, hey we have this cool new Minecraft event server, participate in it. You can still have merch and other spin off stuff, yes it makes it feel a bit more shilly, but core concept would remain the same. There was never merch for Summer Festival or Sports Festival but management organizing this means they should see something out of it too so I won't begrudge them that.

So far though I haven't been impressed with the execution and the timing is bad because FWMC still haven't had their BD aftertalk and it cut away from their cover with an airing anime which should be a big deal. I am hoping it smooths out as they go along but the amnesia RP is really severely detracting from my enjoyment of this, the best POVs are the girls that have done away with it.
