I don't know anything about Nerissa. I think I even missed her debut because I slept in or something. I never got around to watching her in anything, but then again I'm never really watching anyone outside my sphere.
I found her album In My Feelings on YT music one day while shuffling, and I have to say I'm actually incredibly impressed. Not only did she manage to create an album with an interesting sound that pays incredible attention to the genres that influenced it, she also has the exact voice that perfectly fits that genre. Genuinely I am impressed by her album and how insightfully crafted it is. I listen to many different artists on Bandcamp from all different places across the world and it's not too often you get an album that comes out and just hits everything so right out of the gate. Whether it was the result of her producers just knowing exactly what she wanted to accomplish or Nerissa's competent understanding of how music should be designed, I am completely and utterly floored. In My Feelings actually makes me hopeful that artists within the Vtuber sphere can create new music that doesn't fillout a checkbox of what's popular with the tip of the iceberg.
I am not saying I'm going to be watching her 100% of the time, but she's now genuinely on my radar and I am wishing her the best. M.Rage collab is also cool

Yes, Shatter was written by established songwriter Monii. I don't know if it my post is confusing, but I meant that Rissa wrote the songs (other than Shatter) to the arranged tracks. I think it's a credit to her talent that the songs sound as cohesive as they do given that they weren't crafted together from the ground up.
