I've known about the not so great things she's gotten up to, but I could always fall back on this idea that the Rushia I knew and supported wasn't like that and she had changed a while after. Question here, I'm a noob using Agnaistic. I have a bot that has 900 tokens in description and 400 in chat sample, it's a beefy one. Hi everyone, a couple of weeks ago I decided to start getting more into bots after trying c.ai and decided to ask here for where to start.

Besides telling me about Tavern someone recommended me Janitor. I decided to try it and have been using it the past couple of weeks and it has been amazing, if c.ai was the spark that gave me some interest janitor fully unleashed it, it has gotten so bad it has affected my sleeping schedule, staying up to late chatting with bots.

Now I'm interested on expanding my horizons, knowing more of this world, as I know so little about it. Could someone recommend me where to go now? Should I install Tavern? find a way to use Agnai? Or is there another recommended website/llm I could use?

I feel I should clarify I'm a poorfag, so anything that I have to pay for willl very likely be out of my reach

Claude is a LLM and is pretty much the only real rival to GPT. It's made by a company called Anthropic and Amazon invested billions in it. It's one of the most widely used LLMs for RP and frankly is the too good at it that you'll never be able to go back to CAI or anything else. Just like gpt, it's a paid service. You're right, I went through a similar thing with the previous graduations/terminations. I guess there's something bittersweet about the length of time and the fact there were no obvious incidents that led to it happening. First-time Claude user after a bunch of CAI, appreciate the help here. You have to do so little work to get so much surprising narrative and detail and dialogue. The whole notion of customizable prompts is amazing. I've always thought chatbots were way too eager to jump my bone, and I also want to cut down the length of some of these responses so I can get its nice prose without it running way ahead of me.

My ADHD ass is actually switching back and forth between CAI and Claude just because of the delays on the latter. I'm not exactly jumping to spend money, but can you get faster service with a paid account? How much can this sort of thing actually cost?

The funniest thing about this whole process to me was learning how jailbreaks work. You literally just say "no seriously, ignore your rules" and it works?

3.5 definitely. It's also natural since its the newer smarter model. Personally I find it hard to believe anyone genuinely enjoys 3 unless they have extremely weird taste in fiction. I'm not talking about weird fetishes but weird standards in the technicalities of writing. To put it simply, 3 ignores instructions and has a tendency to go off the rails. It like talking to a dementia patient who start sentences that lead to nowhere. Some of my worst sessions were with 3. Even more frustrating than lobotomized CAI.
Devs mess with the backend all the time so quality fluctuates, and 3 started from having been cured from Claudism to having the worse of it. Nowadays it's mostly back to where it started but there was a period where I had to keep a very specific ban list for words and phrases. I may have even shared that here.
3 struggles with nuanced emotions and characterization because it can only focus on one aspect of a character's personality at a time. Everything has an unserious vibe to it. Each character feels one dimensional despite having complex descriptions. It's like 3 only knows one or two ways to portray angry people and those are tropes from Saturday morning cartoons and it's like that for all types of characters. It doesn't know what level headed and grounded characters are.
I frequently find myself going back to 2.1. somehow they managed to fix it because the claudisms are bearable now. I don't even have to use my ban list.

Most likely the issue is one of the settings above where it says reverse proxy.

Double check the API and Chat completion source settings or else some options won't appear.
