Yeah that might honestly be one of the biggest factors. From personal experience, what put me off from dating nowadays was getting into 3 relationships and fucking them up in very similar ways, largely due to insecurity. I concluded that was enough trying and people didn't deserve me doing that with them again.
It's hard to actually participate fully and be happy in a relationship if you don't value yourself first. I wanted to say that I hoped her success as a vtuber doing her thing made her feel better about herself but I know in practice that rarely works like that.
