Even while streaming DBD, Gura would talk about things like which perks, killers, survivors, maps, strategies, etc she liked, even though she had hardly any of those things unlocked yet on the account she was playing with on stream. She never tried to hide that she had another account that she played DBD on.

So her statement in pre-chat was a lie by omission. Someone in pre-chat asked her if she's been following DBD or played recently. Because of what's going on right now, it can't be helped. There's a lot of doomposting by the talent themselves and Gura isn't exactly trying to give us hope for the future, either.
I know a lot of you don't follow the JP side of things, but what's happening with Aqua is a lot more significant than you might think. Everyone is depressed. To many of them, it feels like a part of their family is going away forever. It feels like four years ago with Coco, but maybe even worse because of how many connections Aqua made with so many of them and Aqua's stated reason for leaving is foreboding.

A lot of them are trying to have fun and lighten fans' spirits, but some of them like Subaru refuse to even talk about it because the second they do they'll break down. Subaru's deleted "please just stay" tweet and her privating her VOD where she says she doesn't want to talk about it are examples of this. Other members are saying strange things or giving hints that more graduations are coming too.
The entire company is like this, and it's affecting Gura and the others in ways we don't even know yet, but might eventually realize. This happened to me recently with Koyori's FF6 playthrough and it's heartbreaking.
