Hmm... the problems in Hinano's team today are still the same as the days before.
1. Hinano doesn't focus enough on one enemy to kill/knock them down. She has let at least 2 enemies recover because she didn't push hard enough.
2. Ren needs to be told when to use Gibby's ult and does not use it otherwise. On the second game, she should have used it during their fight against Reticle. Even if it might not hit, at least it will help distract the enemies.
3. Sena is doing great today, except maybe she's a bit quiet on comms.
But those problems are addressed today by the coaches, and Hinano also realized her mistakes, so hopefully her team will do better. Her orders also getting better.

From what I've seen her order is easy to follow, and she (with Kuzuha) are the best bloodhound in this lobby, so her team mostly won fights with wallhack on. They also have the second best landmark in WE (frag east), and has good coach (they constantly catch UBE who is in frag west out of rotation multiple times. It's the coach pointing out how they can slow loot, and catch UBE off guard on rotation)

From what I have observed.

The stress is getting to her. She knows she performed badly and the backseaters in the chat aren't helping. I was watching Hinano's team through Kamito's stream (although I also opened hers in a different tab) and at the end of the last game she vanished for quite some time then when she reappeared, she immediately ended the stream.

I hope she's okay. Hinano is really prone to stress (flashback to when she played custom level of Golf It...) She should find something to de-stress herself with. I heard she considered keeping a cat. She should go with it. Cats are healing.

I think that its just stressful regardless if you practice a lot or not. Normal practice in pubs aren’t the same as scrims since pubs are randos that even getting any wins or not mean much but during scrim is when the real deal comes in, even if its just practice.
It’s definitely hard to play through and find yourself not doing as good as you expected, but I feel many of them are overstressing themselves since everyone is very good so its expected to not do as well as hoped. However its never a good feeling to think that you’re the weak link in the team.

Tbh, I'm guessing it's because the teammates are people she's familiar with. I felt this way too during RIG CUP when Hinano entered with IBG (Noah and Ren). At that time too, they didn't do any practice before the scrims. I don't know about the other members, but Hinano works best with people she's practically strangers with because then she would work harder to not be a burden.

But for this tournament, win or lose, I hope they all have fun and gain good experience.

You're free to keep posting here even if you're just in it for the gameplay but understand that it's not the main focus of the thread. While we still care about stats and champion hopefuls, there's more to the scene than powerlevel discussions and gameplay commentary.
The thing that makes this niche unique is mainly the interactions between a huge cast of likeable people. At least that's why I think you watch apex vtubers over western apex streamers. So it's worth caring about the "drama".

If Hal wants to make a tournament which every team can win, ALGS's matchpoint format is the best. 50pts is matchpoint, and 1 champion to win the tourney. If the team with matchpoint can't end, the tourney will continue endlessly until one team become champion with 50pts. It's much more likely that an upset will happen than being consistent throughout 5 matches. With this format, my oshi can have a chance too

Geyser might actually be the worst drop zone in the game. As bad as Landslide is lootwise, it does seem to get survey beacons pretty often. Epicenter is also pretty bad for loot, but at least they can get into a fight with the people at survey camp who are also pretty weak. Geyser by comparison is surrounded by Siphon, City, and Overlook, all of which seem to have much better loot. It also has a low chance of getting a survey beacon.

The next bad landmark to compare would be Dome. The loot and weapon choices are definitely poor while beacon spawn rate is about 71%. Though if you're playing an edge comp correctly, you should be taking your time to loot up as much as possible including lava siphon's leftover. There's a lot of blue armour to go around in siphon. I still don't understand why meika's team is so persistent in playing caustic, then rushing straight into the zone from the corner of the map, only to get ambushed and killed by Reid at siphon while rotating. Don't know why mukai would advocate for this centerzone play as well as their coach

Here's a cool reference from the past 7 days of scrims. Harvester requires a Crypto. Landslide could be playable with a loba stealing armor from vault + valk + caustix/gib. Dome should loot the leftovers from siphon.
