Actually, surprisingly, it's the right thing to do. As long as you can make sure it doesn't cut a bigger wound, it's best to leave the weapon embedded into the wound until you are ready to administer proper emergency care and stem the bleeding, if you just yank it out right away it "unplugs" the wound and allows blood to flow more freely, and the pressure loss might cause a loss of consciousness.

It's always funny to see characters in movies freak out when someone gets shot. They worsen wounds in their rush to remove the bullet, which is probably the worst possible thing to do.

I think she cancelled during Origins 3rd anniversary, and she had her Saturday stream even earlier to avoid overlapping with Alias's 2nd anniversary. She also cancelled during Lia's birthday. All in all, she's pretty consistent with trying to avoid overlaps during these events. She's the kohai so she defers to her senpai in these things.
