Great plan... except that Inaba actually expected it, and did an empty jump instead, blocking the DP, and making Tokido eat the full combo two seconds later

Playing grapplers is absolutely ass when there is no actual math for the block stun and invincible frames
In street fighter its 2 frames after wakeup here ten can go by and you will still wiff the grab this is the most counter intuitive mechanic in the world the only way to make certain it will not whiff is to empty jump super

The thing with Coco is that if she can actually play her game, she works and she's horrifying. But then there's characters where you practically lose on character select. Sora? Has to block round start because 5M, then she gets slowly pushed into the corner for endless pressure. Aki? Zoning hell. And don't get me started on Pekora. Same deal, starts off blocking because 5M, then gets her entire kit countered by literally two moves, TNT and the rocket launcher. I'm convinced Pekora wins 100/0 against Coco, it is an unwinnable matchup if you have any remote clue what to do.

The issue is she can't really exploit those gaps. TNT stops all of Coco's grounded options except 5H, Raptor (Bad) and super cartwheel (requires meter, very risky and committal). You have to either jump over TNT or build meter. If you sit back and spam 22S for meter, she can easily find a gap and hit you for it. Trying to jump in on her is insanely hard because rocket pushes her backwards, and the only way to both jump over TNT and hit her in the rocket recovery frames is to do a preemptive early jump that easily gets stuffed by 2H. And when you get hit by Pekora once, you die. She just gets to spam a bunch of bullshit on block and getting out is insanely hard. It doesn't help that rocket both outranges fire and forces knockdown, which means her zoning disengaging tool also leads into the oki of doom. This might be okay if round start was doable, but you're forced to block at the start because Pekora 5M outspeeds everything you have at that range. It's atrocious.

As a side note, I did forget to mention all fires beating TNT, plus the metered one being able to just get past TNT, but that requires you to get meter in the first place which is near impossible in the matchup. Either way, it's an absolutely atrocious matchup, probably the worst in the entire game. And it wouldn't even be that hard to make it somewhat tolerable, if 5M could beat TNT it'd at least be doable.

Alot of that just sounds like it can be mitigated by just walking and blocking. And even If the rockets do that much pushback on block, perfect blocking it is a good way to nullify that pushback giving you trouble. As for dealing with 5M and 2H, It is unfortunate due to how crazy good its speed & priority is so I'd advise trying to preemptively attack with Coco's 3H at a near tipping spot since it's good as a check normal to stop that run in 5M attempts into confirm and if you miss at that tipping point range, I wouldn't be too scared since its generally hard to whiff punish and can cancel with fireball to keep safe.
Dealing with 2H might just be a gameplay style kind of issue, since I generally don't jump that much when playing except off of knockdowns and crossup attempts, but If you insist that it is troubling you, I would say going for a jump into airdash feints work well since she will have to gauge if you are actually in range and will try at times, If she does do 2H and she whiffs, I know there's not really some super amazing reward you get like a combo punish, but you closed the gap between her and can start going ape mode on her ass with Coco's dash up 5L stagger and safe fireball string game. The one thing Pekora sucks at is dealing with pressure and that's one thing Coco good at in the upclose range.
I don't know if this is really that insightful since I don't play this game that seriously and don't land big dick combos like the rest of the sweats do, but I can at least tell what they're doing to me and how to deal most of the time (after a few assbeatings). Just my 2 cents

Walking and blocking doesn't help, mainly because the last thing you want is to let Pekora start a mixup on you. That's the main issue, she's gonna have TNT guaranteed on the floor at round start because you absolutely have to block, or backdash but that doesn't solve the issue either. And trying to get past TNT is a bitch and a half. If you block it, you let Pekora just get in on you for free where she can start her disgusting mixup game. Playing slow just means you keep getting constantly chipped down while she gets a bigger and bigger meter advantage. When she gets that advantage, she can just get in against you for free and you eat a billion mixups into death. She basically just plays Coco's game, but better in every single way with a bunch of extra cherries on top.
