I think the market needs a reset like what Ayamy got when she was banned. Don't actually reset the market, just reset the value of every coin and let the market resort itself based exclusively on channel metrics. We have coins that will NEVER return to their "proper" values because they've been overbought to hell and back. Every oshicoin is effectively dead weight keeping values from moving, and we're to the point where most coins are in the same boat as Okayu was after Mogu liquidated everything and went all-in on making the Moguyacht.

Rushia at 3k for almost a whole day was due to way too low volatility, which is the only limiting factor to purchases in this game. People will stop buying if a coin is not worth the price anymore, but if it essentially stays the same even in 10 mins you can just yolo it.
The big question is how do you limit how much people can afford, without taking the current amount of "thrill" out of the market. Nerfing divvies would be one answer, it has two positive points:
- your fat coin stacks don't have as much potential anymore, effectively taking income away from the rich
- poor people won't be affected as much because they're supposed to daytrade anyways.
One minus in this is that money will then move at ASS pace, making the leaderboard really stagnant and the game boring as shit.
We never found a good solution discussing this so far, be the nobel prize candidate coming up with something if you have ideas.

The week Ayamy was banned, ALL of her channel metrics took a massive hit, and something in NASFAQ's system went weird and dunked her coin in the process. Her active market value and her dividend were both affected, and both took a massive dive.
That's what I'm referring to when I say "reset the value of coins". I'm not talking about re-doing the IPOs. I'm talking about basically pushing the reset button on the player influence on the coins' value. Ayamy has leagues more volume than she did before she dived, but still has never hit 4 digits again. Pochi, Nabi, and Nana never recovered from Bogration, and went back down to 1~2k where they belong. In some ways, nature has healed, but the big coins with lots of market traffic have suffered from valuation bloat.
I keep going back to Iofi but she's a very good recent example of this. Iofi's standard value both before and after Bogration was in the 1.8~2.2k range, same as most of the blonde shitcoins. She got pumped and spiked due to her hiatus, and is now probably permanently in the 3~4k Club, just like pre-Bogration Pochi was. Anya is shaping up to end up the same way. A couple of good streams, a nice market spike, not enough people selling to dive the price, and no meaningful downward adjustments.

So, to summarize, the only way to solve drastic inflation is to routinely cut the fat of market influence on coins, minimizing the impact share volume can have. How to do this? I dunno. Maybe after dividends pay out, you slash all coin values by the amount the dividend paid? Maybe once a month/week you cull the channel metrics and make everyone start over? More aggressive downturns would help but wouldn't neccessarily solve certain issues like what Marine's going through right now.

It's a mess. A cleanable mess, but it's very much like when you have a mountain of dishes piled up and you think to yourself "damn bro where do I start". There's a lot of layers to the problem and for once I'm glad it's not my job to sort them out.
