I feel something similar towards the newer viewers that have come out in recent months, and the worst part is that my oshi has told me that they felt like the old regulars are coming less and less but I don't have the heart to tell them that they come less and less because the difference in treatment between the older and newer viewers, it's not a surprise that most of the regulars have left after being told that they don't want the newer viewers to feel bad so they are just pandering towards them.

I recommend making yourself known to the other /asp/ies and hanging in streams for a couple weeks, then announcing debut on the thread, then actually having a lil debut stream. It doesn't have to be insanely big or high production, but I've been noticing that just starting out of nowhere with no networking tends to make people think you just showed up to drop your link with no prior association to thread and they may ignore the first couple posts until they realize you're sticking around.

Another way to think of it; there's no downside to having a debut.

one thing i learned in my years of on/off therapy is practicing self love is really important so its okay to be a failure sometimes. look at how you treat your close friends or family or people you love and see how forgiving and kind you are to them, and then compare it to how you treat yourself in the same/similar situations. a lot of people are way more harsh on themselves and they dont allow for rest days or excuses for things and shitting on yourself eventually piles up and then you just give up because you just hate yourself.

Male vtubers in general don't attract the male audience, mainly because their models are the pretty boy type, which panders to women.
Male fleshtubers on the other hand only require to be entertaining (and not be ugly to the point of making people vomit), to have a chance at making it, and they end up appealing to both genders.
So maybe an overly masculine model (if I were you I'd try to go into the gigachad territory), could work, assuming you wouldn't try to pander to women/gays, which would make your male audience uncomfortable.
But I have no idea if that could even work, you'd have to ask elsewhere or just try.
