That makes no sense. As people find a Holo EN they like by increasing the choices (Gen 2), they are more likely to stay and grow the market. You cannot grow by only having a very limited selection. This limitation was causing people to look elsewhere, like to Niji EN. This limitation will finally be fixed.

And for a good reason: nips don't usually go in foreign expeditions when creating companies, they find locals, create an independent subsidiary, delegate all authority over that domain to a hand picked head and let them do as they please, answering only to the board and the CEO.

I assume Hololive EN has this structure, a completely separated management of all things including their own separate channel to do as they please. If they're waiting for HQ to do it for them it will remain as barren and forgotten as it is now.

Before I get accused of cope, I know VOD views are more complicated than this, but if you compare the VOD views of streams between Pekora and Gura, they're usually either similar or Gura pulls ahead over time unless Pekora gets some ridiculous CCV is like 50k for that stream. This doesn't "prove" that Gura's actual CCV would be similar to Pekora's if all her fans tuned into her stream live, but her overall numbers are comparable to the most successful HoloJP so they're not bad.

Pekora destroys Gura in CCV for most of these streams, but in the end, Gura catches one way or another.

gura catching up to pekora in vod views has two variables:
1 is actually people coming up late to watch the vod instead of live, for whatever reason, way more for gura than for pekora (lack timezones difference is a likely reason)
2. is pic related. Even for JPs, the more EOP fanbase they have, the higher the difference between their instantaneous total views vs the ccv. It is likely youtube's spamviewers filtering that made everyone get a sudden drop in december last year.

nah, there is some really fucking weird thing going on on japans vod queues so vod views on real time take fucking longer to validate than EN. They still get added hours after the stream start but EN and JP vod views are entirely different stories for some reason.
I think it might be that youtube live viewers are validated quicker on mobile but vod views take longer to validate from mobile. Which would explain why JP get higher CCV but their VOD gains during a stream are lower than EN.

Normal range for their main channel. Things like quiz, sketch, segments etc usually gets high numbers for both companies. It's like Meme review w/ guests or 3+ man Collabs for Holos. Although, for Holos, their maruyama still sucks a lil bit. Idk why they're doing game segments.

Yes, from pure numbers for a single stream is Coco, Nijisanji and Gura. For numbers related to company wide events, 255k for Koshien, ~236k for Usaken and ~200k for Holo Mario Kart. The significance of it is that both companies could gather more than 200k for large events. Use that if a shitposter says that Hololive couldn't do large events and get large numbers unlike Nijisanji. Heck, as a holofag, ~200k for an event isn't the highest ceiling yet, everyone is waiting for EN to do a 3D debut then a concert with JP members.

I mean, from a traditional advertising perspective, the goal of advertising is to build brand awareness and reach target audiences that may be interesed in your product.
In that sense clippers have been by far the biggest of advertisers for Hololive. Dropping ads in meatspace like this is probably....not as effective? Normies that might want to watch are probably more likely to be pulled in by their friends talking about it than these billboard type ads, but we will never know the effect these kinds of ads have as those are going to be all internal metrics.

Depends, most of the time sponsorships are going to be more about money than reach, though both companies probably stand to benefit if done well.
Curry Meshi was far more successful than either company probably expected, and so was the Red bull campaign, same deal considering they sold out on a month's supply of limited drinks in an instant.
I'm a filthy EOP so I don't know how well the Niji sponsorships have worked out but I'd assume that they've been successful.
Again, internal metrics, I really wish we could see those numbers, but they must be good if Cover is getting approached for more sponsorships. Same deal with Niji.
