Getting too big. They're going to start having more talent than what they can do with at some point. Their scouting is pretty good so far and managed to find VTubers for all types of people to enjoy, but I think they need to be planning a future.
The animation and stuff might be good for them, but I can see them getting too big as the years go on. We'll just have to wait and see what old japanese men will do with a lot of money.

The only thing that went wrong with Hololive is that they put stuff like the EN HOPE, PRELUDE, and OMEN teasers on an official Hololive English channel that nobody watches. There is no reason why those videos shouldn't just be on the regular Hololive official channel where the audience that sees it will be much larger.

Other than that weird decision Hololive is fucking based.

Seriously, people need to leave the /vt/ bubble every once in a while. In every other online community that follows HoloEN the Cube and the Orb has been the source of endless meme material. Its generating tons of discussion and keeping people focused on what they are going to show off next.

Gachis ghettos are unironically the real bubble. In contrast, /vt/ is the wasteland where only the strongest chubas survive. Chubas are competing for anons' time and attention against every other topic of interest on this website. This is the real world, where sacrifices are made and worthiness is judged on a cost/benefit basis.

EN2 hasn't yet given us any reason to be hype. We don't know if they're more entertaining than EN1, nor what niches (if any) they'll fill. /vt/ doesn't care that their numbers will be guaranteed by branding. In fact, that only raises the bar as anons come to expect that they'll prove to be deserving of their instant success.

That's why they're slowing down expansion after JP5 ID2 EN2. If you look at the usual release schedule you would have expected a JP6 to be recruiting but they've put a pause on that. One part plague reasons and the other being they're trying to actually catch up with their growth with its support system and management.

Too big? They barely debut any girl for every branch in a yearly basis. You can clearly see a lot of the girls being sectioned of to specific groups for Live Events, 3D Skits, 3D shows, Songs, Streaming, VR game and now conventions. They actually don't have enough girls because you would sometimes get dead hours where only 1 or 2 are streaming since many are recording something or busy preparing for a new show. Subaru, Nene, Suisei, Kanata and Aqua have all decreased their streaming times. They need more people to be active when their popular holos aren't streaming. I'm just happy Aki is part of HoloError and the baseball sponsorship
