Some clarifications: YouTube doesn't ban accounts that use cookies to scrape with yt-dlp, YouTube bans IPs that use that use cookies to scrape with yt-dlp. Resetting your router and getting a new IP address would circumvent the YT ban. Also, they primarily issue that ban if you abuse it -- a stream here or there isn't going to cause issues.

That said, if you want to sidestep the problem entirely there is an oauth2 plugin for yt-dlp that makes you indistinguishable from watching it on a TV. It can be a cunt to install, but once you get it working you're golden.
