i used to have the same issue with yt invalidating cookies like every 20 minutes and went the jank py script route but I forget exactly what I did but you need to use a cookie which you don't use for normal viewing so it doesn't get refreshed. Been using the same cookie for about 6 months now for member streams and been fine. I think it might be as simple as using cookies from a different browser and then never logging in again on that browser

It's a difficult problem. Their payment and member gating is all tied up in Youtube, adding another platform means redundant work to justify the price of membership on both. Moving to Twitch isn't a solution, because that's just another big platform with similar ad-centric policies. And being part of a general audiences company, they probably don't have the option to use a permissive adult-oriented platform.

Whatever they do, they need a durable solution, because every time you have to move platforms you're going to lose paying users. I don't know what the answer is, but it will be interesting to see what they come up with.
