/asp/ has always been /wvt/ 2.0. Part of the problem is that the ngmi that hang around for too long because they, you know, never made it. They still bring up the people in their generation that already made it, even though those people should technically already graduate from /asp/. Deep voice is overrated. Timbre > pitch. Look at trannies for example. A lot of them do that tranny high pitched voice because they think that makes them sound more feminine. But they just sound gross and annoying. Because while they can mimic the female pitch, they can't mimic the timbre. Same goes for men. You need to have a nice timbre in your voice. You don't even need a deep voice at all if you have a nice timbre.

I'm just depressed and working 12 hours shifts at work (thank God I'm salaried or I'd actually get paid for this extra shit) so I dont have the energy or enthusiasm to stream at the moment. I also work from home so streaming from my home office means I'm trapped in the same room all fucking day, which sucks.

I'll be back to streaming soon, I just have to find a steady pace in my work where I can find time to have a life without pushing myself to exhaustion. may also move my streaming setup into my guest bedroom so it's at least a different environment.

I don't think I could do it live. I don't really have it in me to keep it up for a very long time. Anything close to BFE doesn't really come naturally to me. I also think that it would make a lot of my long time viewers uncomfortable, and I really value the time spent with them and I couldn't bear it if a huge change in my content drove them away.

Its fun doing a bit of humorous stuff though. I really do enjoy my silly attempts at voice acting here and there, it seems like the most appropriate way to do some of this stuff as Free. And yes, it does help with the embarrassment some.

I've been thinking of doing a youtube channel unrelated to Free. Get into more serious roleplay readings. I think I could get into it better if it were a brand new start.
