Ever since the debut of Luxiem in Nijisanji and the stuff that happened at the end of Omega's tenure at HoloEN, a huge portion of the fanbase has been extremely afraid of Hololive turning into Niji EN. That's why unicorns are so paranoid and aggressively trying to gatekeep.

There is huge fear that Hololive will hire "Enna" type who quickly get into a "dunk on the chuds" and "own the incels" mindset and damage the branch as a whole. JP Hololive fans are less aggressive about this because there isn't the same "shit on your fans" culture that has developed in the US and EU.
