I hate how this thread is the most boogeymanned thread on the board for no reason. Every thread I peek into someone has used this thread as a scapegoat for some retarded thing we didn't do or something another thread has also done but doesn't get blamed for as harshly. We've shat on female vtubers but literally every single thread has done that to some extent. We rarely even do it but if someone does one rant every ten or so threads, it's treated like we do it every 5 posts. And for some reason shitposting and falseflagging is taken seriously in this thread by outsiders the most. This is the most baffling to me. No one listens to a schizo's words and takes them to heart like I've seen former posters of this thread have. People took indie schizo seriously and the anon that posted random indie vtubers that were live on twitch had left. That Lucub that found indies in different languages left because of indie schizo instead of just ignoring him. There's been tribalfags that we've told to fuck off before but people have called this /stars 2/ because of the amount of falseflagging tribalfags. I've always ignored them but should I have told them to fuck off more? I don't know why this thread's users were the most affected by all the shitposting as if it was their first time on 4chan, but it does make me sad to see regulars go over something we can't control. This is literally the nicest thread I've ever had the pleasure of being in. I like the unity, I like the discussion I can have about complicated topics without being called a schizo, I like how you can discuss a different corpo in the same sentence as another without being called a shill, and I love all the anons here. I know I shouldn't reply to bait but after noticing that anons were actually falling for it so much, maybe I should have spoken up and told shit posters and tribalfags to fuck off more.

In what way exactly? I'm not all that familiar with Neo-Porte but from what I've seen, mixed waves/gens is done by nearly every small corpo I've ever come across and it makes them less unique. If anything, doing a single gender group is the opposite of a risk. I'd count Avallum but to be fair they did a lot of advertising and have a song to help promote them. However, all-male groups in EN are still extremely rare. And from what I've seen FSP EN are the first corpo ever to start out their EN branch with just males.

It's always so funny to see Bloom sincing such a happy and nice song while brutally killing monsters from hell.

Let me just say I'm not saying I enjoy the strategy but it's an easier to rationalize pathway for debuting talent I guess is what I mean.
The perspective still is that male viewers dominate the market and males only want to watch and get parasocial with girls. It comes down to still not realizing how big and concentrated of a market females are.
There's also the JP stigma that female fanbases are harder to manage and more restrictive for the liver(Axia as an example) that I think prejudices the talent, and also probably scares them away from EN.

Or maybe this is just my bitter cope, I really think corpos have convinced themselves mixed is just better because they can satisfy both markets and possibly benefit from the bigger market of male viewers, while completely ignoring how dedicated the opposite market can be.

As for Neo-porte I have my own gripes with them but most of their successful talents are female so i can't blame them for spamming mixed gen, but I still find it incredibly stupid they didn't even try to branch out into EN especially after how popular one of their gen 4(the only male only gen by the way) was.

The weirdest thing about them (and even bi women) is I've noticed they're the ones that like to invade content meant for people that just like men and try to shove women in there. This'll sound like a shitpost but it's something I've picked up on. They try to ask for female options in otome games, they're the ones begging for "girl voice" and always bringing up genderbends in male vtuber chats, they advocate that BL should have more female characters, but I never see this same attitude for content made for people who like women. What's the point of flocking to female-oriented stuff with anime boys in it if you're just going to turn it into something made for men? And if you say you're not interested in having females in those things they'll make up some weird excuse like "you hate your own gender". I thought it would be only a twitter thing but I've seen it in so many different places and it baffles me. I'm really curious what their logic is.
