I think it's fair to have preferences according to personal taste, but some voices sound objectively better. Smoother, clearer speech. Kronii, Vox, and Matara, they all sound very good on an objective ranking, but sometimes people like higher pitches or more stutters or regional accents.

Eh, I'd argue not. She has that higher inflection at the end of her sentences. I've heard people say around her debut that it stresses them out, probably because english is language where higher inflections indicate a question, so it's like their brain is subconsciously thinking that they're hearing a question for everything she says.
Gura has natural Americanisms in her speech pattern. I know Pomu has them too, but I can't think of any other chuubas with such a strong American accent. Maybe Aia, but she's kinda doing her own thing.
Anyways, that kind of accent feels a lot closer to home for me and other Americans, which is likely part of the reason why they became so popular.

I'll also admit that I haven't watched Fauna in god knows HOW LONG. But I do know this, I like Fauna's voice because its pleasing and soothing to my ears and while Gura DOES have a nice sounding voice (probably better than Biboo), she doesn't have that "soft / soothing" voice like what Fauna does.
