color flats, circular gradient blending layers, for the blue (outside), blending layer to darken the whole thing in a blue hue, add a blending layer that lightens areas for highlights, add a layer to add acrylic brush textures and shading (mostly where she's sitting), then I merged all of the background layers together and used the elliptical selection tool to make sort of a circular sort of in perspective around her so that I could inverse the selection and add a gaussian blur to simulate a focal fall off (I e. from an anamorphic lens), which created too strong of a division between the sides so I had to further use a blue brush to make sure it had more of a natural flow into the blue
