This board only has two good kinds of threads 99% of the time - Generals, and the funny pics / reaction images threads. Everything else is a cesspool of monkeys throwing shit at eachother over minor drama they've blown up into insane proportions. The only exception to this is when there's a really big event, or occasionally something funny and original happens, like the liver thread from a few weeks ago.

Trying to think like the jannies, Matsuri’s incident has become that much of a yab that if IRL discussion isn’t allowed schizos would go out of their way to circumvent the rules due to the nature of the incident. We can only hope discussion will be banned once everything is settled down

As I said above, jannies are probably making an exception to avoid having people digging further about the yab. If anything, if that’s their plan, they should focus then on banning the trolls and threads derailed by them

It’s obvious some big chuubas have been here and the ones that aren’t familiarized with board culture are mentally affected
We have /asp/, /wvt/ and vtubers heavily associated with /here/
We have three gimmick accounts on Twitter that screencap our threads and posts and Reddit definitely knows our existence and we have become their boogeyman
And some rrats and /vt/ opinions have been able to break containment and while a majority may not take them seriously, they can influence enough people to keep repeating them
All of this has only happened a few times, but it has been very noticeable. We aren’t a hivemind but when schizos agree on certain ideas and have forms to back them up they can make their ideas heard, for better or for worse
