the story cutscenes became a focus in 2. This game is the bridge between Ultimate Ninja and the Ultimate Ninja storm formula.

Ultimate ninja games, IMO, were better gameplay wise because they combined a fairly decent 2d fighter+cool supers and a pretty hefty single player mode.
