They just all did it for Selen because she's the only one who actually gave a shit about the artists and fans to the point where they always wanted to give back. Selen had multiple fangames. Even a porn fangame that was shit but had good art.

On top of this, she was very involved in her community and was always hiring them to do work for her (with pay of course). So they just... really ended up liking her or liked working with her.
This is the main reason why when Nijisanji wrote that she of all fucking people was the reason why some artists weren't paid, absolutely nobody fucking bought it.

The real reason is that due to what she has had to endure and the resulting PTSD and indoctrination or however you want to call it the mindset that took hold is "she's not saying what she REALLY wants to say, but I know what that is, and it's XYZ".
