I look at it in the exact opposite way. When they were all confined to AniLive the community was tight-knit and they were really only "competing" with each other for viewership. Now that some are on YouTube and some are on Twitch they're all competing with the higher spec competition on those platforms and of course that hurts AniLive too because there's less to watch.

There are not many who sing often enough. Personally I don't like Melody's singing much but I might rate her somewhat unfair since her personality is a complete miss for me. Nell is chill, I like her, I just don't know any song she sings and she has typically the same style. Clotho's song choices fit me well but overall he's not that good.
