On the internet, some people find it easy to get involved and talk as much as possible, but in real life they might be extremely reclusive. I can't speak for others but as someone who listens at about half volume it seems like she tends to set the volume for if you have it at 100%. Only briefly checked during Blue Clapper but it seemed like she was about 6-8dB louder than the music which might not be a problem if you had the stream up all the way but as soon as you start turning it down the disparity seems worse. Especially since quiet/lofi tracks can get lost pretty easily. Seems fine enough to me now.

One thing she really excels with it is imitaing vocaloid singing with it, like her Goodbye declaration not needing significant post-processing. Also while she can go low, pitch pending and switching keys is really not her strong suit, so she definitely has reasons not to go low. To make significant improvement she'd probably need professional training which she doesn't have time for.

But... after the initial hype the view growth slowed dowm tremendously. To make it clear we can compare Violet to Kiara's cover of Goodbye Declaration:
Violet: 500k views -> 1 day; 1 million views -> 9~10 days
Goodbye Declaration: 500k views -> 2 days; 1 million views -> 6 days

Right now the daily view growth is the same or even slower than SPARKS at the same time of its release.

On Spotify Violet started pretty much with the same numbers SPARKS did (51k vs. 47k on day 1, 47k vs. 48k on day 2), but it is now slowing down much faster. Right now Violet grows with 30k streams per day while SPARKS still had 40k streams per day at the same time of its release.

My quasi-related thoughts: Every musician who operates within creative freedom has their own biases and self imposed limitations that causes their songs to under-perform. I'll let you decide for yourselves what Kiara's limitations are, that's not my goal. What I'm saying is: Kiara wants to make the music that she prefers, and have that music do well. That's a separate goal from just wanting to make music that does well. Kiara doesn't just want to have high numbers, she's trying to validate her preferences as an artist. Maybe some of those biases and preferences are faltering, and that might be why we got SPARKS, an English song from a J-idolfag. Part of the growth of a commercial artist is finding out that the art you're making isn't reaching people the way you want it to, and making compromises to try and reach more people.
To be clear though, being stubborn about some of your preferences is key to being a good artist rather than a product. It's good that she sacrifices some of her audience if it means making art that she's proud of. But there's definitely a proper balance that she's trying to find.

You can nicely see the difference in hype versus non-hype in Violet's explosive start and petering growth afterwards compared to Sparks tamer start but more steady growth.
Violet reminds me of Red Heart in its success and just look at how Haachama's second original is doing.
Meanwhile Hinotori vs. Sparks is much closer to each other.

This is pretty true. Introspection is pretty important and it helps to curb that want to share your love of Kiara with people. Personally, it helps me compartmentalize those feelings so I can kinda keep it to myself knowing that it isn't very smart at all to share it. I've been making streamables of funny moments and gosling stuff of her and I had to make sure that you couldn't see other streamables from the same account before I started sending the funny clips to a friend.
