No. Operation: Bogration + overbought mechanic led to a solid month or so of the starting $ amount going down. It was close to $60k when I started and got as low as $38k. The rich still got richer because of divs either way, total quantity of coins held.

So basically it's "find the algo" but on equal footing every time, and you collect good placements every time for analyzing markets.

that's because the devs heavily nerfed op:bog and then removed overbought, the initial point was op:bog is better for rich players than it is for poor players which doesn't make sense. Rich players don't make that much off of trading, the majority of rise in their net worth comes from inflation and dividends, op:bog kills inflations and nerfs dividends across the board. On the other hand poor players make the majority of their money through adjustment plays and dividends, adjustment plays are still the same while dividends are nerfed for them, but they have the advantage of being able to funnel all of their money into the upper tier of dividend coins compared to the rich players.
