I watched the whole offcollab again and it is like a well written film where you know what is going to happen so you can appreciate the dialogue between the characters more. And it really hit me: Mumei's silly banter was almost all directed at testing the boundaries of her irl relationship with Bae, what Bae is comfortable with physically (including some obvious fetishes) and verbally. And the most interesting part of ti all is that Bae remains largely oblivious to what Mumei is doing, that is why it looks like she, "doesn't reciprocate" to all these signals, she has been friends with Mumei for so long at this point it doesn't automatically register as attempted flirting.
It was more than mere yuribait ie a performance for the audience, it was true art.
