That is also extremely vague. There are so many vtubers just chasing meta and don't make it because everyone is chasing them. Also, many meta/algo shit pop up in a small window of a week and some girls are indeed better jumping at that small window for a slight edge.
I do love people being armchair manager and act like they can easily solve the formula for success while most vtubers in the field, even successful one, admit that it come down to mostly luck

I find it really dumb to waste a vtuber slot on a writer when you can commission that shit any time. And when it comes to ASMR you can literally tell a fucking AI to write you a scenario and do what Lua does, just adjust it a bit (Lua did that with ASMR scripts from reddit).
Kawaii already has a lack of strong vtuber personas and you just keep adding more and more mediocre to awful ones that wont stand out in a SEA of vtubers these days.
