For all the shit, /asp/ is actually a really awesome place to get started in if you're serious. Networking and working with other vtubers outside of /here/ shows how on top of our shit we are.

You get all the best and worst of vtubing as a beginner here like antis, people who love you, people picking your content apart for criticism, easy collabs, but you will get called out for scuff, bad audio, menhera, or even the smallest detail.

We come out of it a lot more prepared than your average vtweeter or indie because people are actually willing to criticize content here, that's for sure.

only if you do them properly as instructed by a vocal coach. It's incredibly easy for a little strain over long periods to do longterm damage.

look up some live videos of meat loaf. At his prime, he was one of the greatest singers of all time, but his technique was untrained, so after touring for his first album, he blew out his voice and it never sounded the same. Lost a lot of his head voice. Then he came back and toured nonstop, still without training, and eventually totally lost his voice. This is so common in music.

After having played that algo game for 2 months:
-It increases reach if you are a very tiny account, nothing better than that to grow and make friends/collab partners if you are just starting out
-If you post in the correct timeslots (every hour on the clock) you can get multiple vtuber supporting bots to RT, thus increasing reach even more
-multiple vtubers/vtweeters use that as a method to network and go around meeting new people, so you can also gain real vtuber follows by using it
-some of these vtubers from the last post will RT and like stuff they watch in yhe #s, so that can also give you a boost
-bots are unavoidable, even more with the directly twitch related ones
-multiple usage of hashtags kills your notoriety because algo limits them to 2 per post, and after that you get nerfed.
-if the thing from last post occurs enough, you might end up shadowbanned.
