It's a weird case for Sayu in particular that makes it not all that interesting to livepost about her. She's very, very attentive to chat so if there's something to say, you might as well say it there and she'll probably respond directly. She's kind of like Scarle in that watching her steam feels more like you're having a one on one conversation or chatting session rather than a stage show like most people with a "large" chat.

There's just not a lot most of us want to say about her that we wouldn't say TO her instead.

No, the clique actually had nothing to do with it. In general she really, really didn't get how Niji did things and was too hard to control. In the end, If I remember right, the final straw was when trying to set up her genshin account (which they OK'd initially, but then rugpulled her later saying she'd have to make a new one and whale it up to streaming level because of course) the new 2-week-old hire they assigned to manage the ENTIRE WAVE was too incompetent to answer her questions or help her get set up properly, so she ended up in frustration trying to contact the "nice" manager who actually trained her for help or advice, and that manager reported her for "sidestepping operational workflow" was enough to trigger the termination iirc. Then, right before termination, they sent her a silencing contract that would prevent her from defending herself and basically threatened that if she didn't sign it and let them smear her, they'd smear her even harder, and gave her only an hour to decide, which wasn't even enough time to contact Sayu's lawyer. It's assumed that Yugo and the other ex-nijis except Selen signed that contract.

But that's only why she was fired. If you have a half hour, I recommend watching this video. It goes into detail the kind of strategies Niji used to get the sisters to fucking hate her to the point of trying to get her to kill herself for over a year.

What makes Sayu's harassment so fucking vile is how completely irrational it is.

Like, the worst thing you could say about her is that she almost made a rape joke over a year ago, but she immediately apologized for it and, far more importantly, has never done it again. Her streams are safe, inclusive and welcoming to everyone. She has done a wonderful work improving her content while dealing with chronic depression. Even so, to this day you can still see sisters everywhere talking about sayu as "the rape joke making whore" and shit like that.

The truth is that the sisters don't care about Sayu being a bad person or not, they are only mad with her because she made their company look bad, and they can't accept the fact that they have spent so much time, energy and money on a company as evil as Nijisanji. Same thing with Doki.

So, if the company isn't evil, that means that the so-called "victims" must be the "enemy". Nijisanji's fanbase operates just like a fucking cult.

Rrat master here. Matara patched things up with Sayu after the rose told her about Niji's plans to close the branch in a few months. Concerned for Sayu's mental health, Matara decided to bury the hatchet so Sayu would have someone to rely on during the extremely eventful months ahead.
