The issue is cohesion, an IRL event is exponentially more effective when overlapping fanbases can gather, that's why E3 worked so well before corporation got free advertisements through streaming, and why it's dead today.

If they ran a full on vtuber convention I could see it working, it’s not like Offkai was big when they started out so Phase could probably get a decent amount of people interested, but I don’t think a ridiculous amount of people would go just for Phase connect alone.
