In the case of how the company treated Pomu and Selen, they probably thought they could get away with it because these were seemingly two people with low self esteem/self worth. They probably hoped that they could manipulate them into staying and accept what little they got, but their management or fellow coworkers were so stupid that they scared off one and terminated the other, not realizing their actual worth until it was far too late.
As for why they got away with it for so long, they probably got too cocky and figured that if it didn't happen for the past two years, there would be no way it could happen to them.

The problem is that that Anycolor is very inconsistent with how they honor their contracts. Doki really hasnt said much in the grand scheme of things, and they still came after her super hard. Meanwhile Luca leaked a lot of information to his ex-moderator, quite a lot of which was used to paint the company and one of their talents in a bad light, and yet he got away with a slap on the wrist. I think even him and the other Luxiem members did a stream after where they made fun of people thinking Luca would get into trouble.
