There's plenty of artists and they're willing to put themselves out there enough to become vtubers, so I imagine some of them worked in an artists alley. I know some have told con stories but I've done quite a good job of filtering niji out of my recommends and I'm not about to go fucking it all up now that I'm out.

I don't really disagree with any of what you said but from what I can tell, none of the later gens resemble the same background. Most were streamers of a specific type of content in their own right, like Aia with her makeup and Kyo with whatever you call his content. To my knowledge, Doki was the only "art streamer" that made it into Niji EN. It seems like no one else in the corpo shares her background in any way.
