Honestly if we want to reduce the amount of anchors I think OC and Bump can be combined, Kuro isn't needed as it's purely a 2nd News/Rrat anchor. If we cut Kuro and combine the other two then we'd have a nice group of 5 Anchors: with News, OC/Bump, Economics, Local/Board Events, Rrats.
Regarding additional anchors, temporary anchors are the way to go I believe. Though the caveat is that something big happens after anchors are already established, but I'd rather have 1 thread derailed to have future thread organized. ANYCOLOR FALLS BACK
Anycolor continue to fell as we opened up after lunch, closing out at 2250 yen (-42). Seemingly softening the blow by the new EN Debut and the scarcity of actual trading, as their trading volume has hit ANOTHER record low. They're looking at a 10 yen loss for the week.

COVER IN FREEFALL
Cover isn't so lucky however, as the momentum from before lunch continues and even ACCELERATES as we're ending the day at 1819 yen (-95), a near 5% decrease. While I'm not sure on the exact reasoning for the current decrease, the reason for their sharper decline can be attributed to their trading volume being still abnormally high (or perhaps a new average?) and the overwhelming negative feelings from the stock. Still, a grim sign as they're now looking at a 64 yen loss for the week.

The vast majority of investors are not fans, despite the Yahoo comment section. All they care about is which way the number is trending, and they tend to be dealing with a thousand other stocks. There's no time for real research.

In Japan and the US, publicly traded companies are basically evil by law. They cannot do anything for their employees that affects their investor's bottom line and dividends. They must always focus on short term gains over long term investment, or risk being sued into liquidation oblivion. Thus, if my oshi was in Cover, I'd be praying for them to get delisted or otherwise withdraw from the market ASAP, as that'd be the best possible scenario for the talents - to no longer be subservient to a bunch of faceless investors who don't even know their names. I'd say the same if my oshi was in Niji, but AnyColor is fully invested, being Riku's fifth pump and dump, so it wouldn't survive being delisted... It stalled because I accidentally caused a minor scuffle and I was laying low for a bit, and a lot more info came out of that scuffle that ended up invalidating parts of what I was writing.
Since a lot of the business model information being recanted relied partially on the partnership being more intimate than it ended up being in reality, the news that NEXAS and AniLive were more or less fully independent from each other messed things up a bit. I was doing a lot of detail work on teaching the reader how stuff like old school crowd bait scams work, for example. While it's still possible that NEXAS and AniLive are a crowd bait scam, Harry's comments on how NEXAS would be more than willing to ditch AniLive, and Cap's response to my prodding basically confirming he has no love lost for NEXAS either way, makes it significantly more likely that they're just business partners trying to prop each other up, but would ditch each other if it was convenient.

Going off memory the lines indicate the following
Red: shorts held by institutions
Cyan: Margin Selling
Blue: Margin Buying

Going off what past me said and looking at the chart since March (Take what I say with a heavy grain of salt, I'm not well versed in stocks despite my moniker and Japan may have different policies)

It seems short selling institutionally at least is till fluctuating, though it seems to have stabilized for now and I expect it'll take a long time before it reaches to before the Q3 report.
As for Margin Selling, I might be misinterpreting this, but I believe that Cyan might instead represent amount of short sells held by individuals. Over the months it has had some slight movement (notably only downwards), but it still maintains a almost perfectly straight line. Assuming I'm interpreting the graph correctly, if the ban is still in place that means that around 1 to 1.1 million individual shares are waiting to be used for short selling.

Again, I'm THAT qualified when it comes to stuff this detailed. So someone with more economical/business knowledge may be able to clarify some things. But I think at the very least there seems to be a sort of limit? Who knows.
