This is what I'm afraid of. The odds of them going to any other con in the US (them being any EN) in person is almost nothing beyond AX. The problem with AX is it's pure lines all the time. Want to go see your favorite voice actor? Wait in this 2 hour line. Want to go see a performance? Wait in this 3 hour line. Want to go to a no-name panel? Wait in this hour line.

I go to many panels, but that's because I live in the midwest and most of the cons here aren't really corporate pushed. Obviously you have your celeb voice-actors, but for the most part you can duck in and out of any panel you want. Maybe 1/5th of them fill up in comparison to never getting it at west/east coast cons.
My rule is you've got 5 minutes to hook me or I'm on to another panel. I see like a quarter of the panels at most cons.
On topic, I went to Miku's first concert at AX back in 2011. I had to buy a ticket and was committed at that point, but had to wait in line for 2 hours to even get a spot that wasn't back of the back. For a HoloEN live panel, I'd expect the same level of turnout, especially if it's overseas EN members. Just don't have the drunken patience to keep in line for that long.

I hope she's not genuinely worried about people wanting more from her right now or tomorrow.

But yeah, it definitely depends on the university. At my school, the average study time per student was pretty decently above average. So as a result, everyone in the club was generally pretty passionate about why they entered the school. as a result, cringelords on campus were usually English majors who were super pretentious rather than the small group who came together to play tactical board games and watch anime in their free time.

I think Kiara has always been a great entertainer. She knows how to work a crowd or people for that matter. She has that background. Problem is you can't really see that in action with normal Holo collabs. You need outsiders for that and chicken just started doing that. Depends. Some VIP get paid, some lower levels do it just for badge entry and exposure. Most panels at your typical con are hosted by attendees who just like the subject and submitted a panel. When you're talking really big cons that attract the corporate side of things (like Anime Expo), you see a lot more cost for the con to bring them in.
