It's fine if she doesn't want to be as idol as the other girls, she's not much of a singer and she's actually pretty funny. But her game choice is pretty lousy and she's too inconsistent. Saplings have been tracking her regularly cancelling streams every 3.5-4.5 weeks and speculating that it's her shitty malnourished vegan period causing her issues. I keep seeing this excuse for half of the EN girls and I always ask; they're in a Japanese company that caters to a Japanese audience and a western audience that likes Japanese culture, why aren't they putting in the effort to learn Japanese? Myth has been around for almost 4 years and Council/Promise for almost 3, plenty of time for the girls that didn't know any Japanese to get to at least conversational level with regular study. Anya did it just fine in a year or so. Even in Advent, the girls must've been planning on joining Hololive for a while, the least they could've done is start learning the language (Nerissa made a effort, I guess).
This goes for the JP girls too. English is the defacto international language and they want to expand into the West, most of them have had 3+ years to learn English, yet only A-chan has made visible progress. They do get a bit of a pass because, as Yagoo said, Westerners want to watch Hololive "as is", ie in Japanese, so the girls don't really have to pander in English, but being able to understand the language would allow them to connect with more of their audience.
All in all, missed opportunities all around. Dedicating ~5 hours of your week to learn a language is a solid investment that almost no girl in Hololive has pursued.

5 hours of afternoon lessons a week is the standard for learning English in my country (I'm ESL). I know they're overworked, hence why I think 5 hours is also a good average of hours, enough to learn some basics without overloading their already busy schedule. They wouldn't necessarily need to stream in English/Japanese even if they learned it (though it could be fun once in a while), it's just that them being conversational in each other's languages would let them move on from the "Kaela cute, Kalea God" "Miko-senpai thank you, Miko-senpai cute" style of interactions (which, admittedly, are cute) to something a bit more substantial and cooperative.
