I am going to be honest as someone who was in /lazu+/ and eventually moved over to /mint/. The general had no real internal issues in the hiatus period from when Pomu left and was the only place you could really discuss her up until the start of April. There wasn't really any internal issues with the people who frequented the threads but a lot of outside going or looking in the thread especially when Twitter spaces dropped to get information from her.
/mint/ really wasn't an explicit thing until the podcast became reality and it was explicitly started by a dragoon who liked Mint enough but was self-admittedly not a big enough fan to be a Pomie/Wisp and did the thread making for around 3-4 threads before handing it off to others to do it though people wanted to wait until her redebut because no one knew how long she was going to stay.
Not that the formatting and templating to start off wasn't helpful and etc. but one can't deny the ulterior motive behind it which was to disassociate the person behind Pomu from Nijisanji ASAP. That act alone on purpose or not splintered pomies with those that still can't separate her from Nijisanji from the rest and there is still animosity for one thread stealing users from the other and calling people who frequent one thread or another names that solidified this split in the fanbase. I will admit the above fact did bother me a bit after Mint re-debuted but given she seems like she was going to be sticking around long-term which was pretty clear by the end of her first week of returning and which we now know she will be around after the podcast, /mint/ even though created prematurely and with hidden purposes by what one can say is a biased third party is now justified and /lazu+/ has outlived its usefulness discussing one part of the group that has left permanently with the those old fans clinging on to old times.
